Producer of raw phosphate, phosphoric acid and phosphate fertilizers.

Jorf Lasfar, El Jadida, Morocco

Our customer launched a major investment programme to expand its production site. The project consisted of the construction of two DAP (diammonium phosphate) fertilizer factories with a total production capacity of 1.7 million tonnes/year.

The project also included conveyor systems and zones for acid storage tanks.

  • Following a quarterly visit to our customer in Casablanca, we learnt about the launch of his extension project.

  • Through our customer and our local network, we contacted the boiler making company (the contractor) who would take care of the supply and the assembly on site.

  • The contractor visited the Managing Director, the Project Manager and the Purchasing Manager to introduce VM and organise a meeting.

  • We submitted our offer.

  • Negotiation, award and fine-tuning of the final technical and logistical details.

  • In continuous communication with the customer in order to deliver the materials over 12 months with very precise "time points".

  • On-site visit to observe the proper execution of the supply.
